Carrom ranked second last

The Scotland Pastime Commission has ranked Carrom as the second-last most popular pastime in the country.

In their annual list of the top twenty, the SPC 2024 survey rates the following:

Snooker
Magnet Fishing
Table tennis
Chess
Knitting
Cat Circus
Waving shoes at taxis
Hungry Flumps
Putting a thing up
Meercatting ar the window when there is shouting
Saying "Only in Glasgow"
Bingo
Pitch and Putt
Karaoke
Howling at the moon
Being hinging.
Spray tan
I knew Sting when he was a coalman
  Carrom
Shouting at fruit flies

Top tier sports such as football, golf, rugby and darts have long attracted attention and finance, while our thing has been deemed "a poor man's chess" and, in the words of Ryan Reynolds, "worse than Ludo." The financial gap remains wide and plain. Still, we endure.
