The Southside Carrom League is a group of Glasgow people who play the game of carrom.
Founded in 2019 as a charitable venture by Brother Walbert and John Glass, the SCL has since become the dominant force in Glasgow carrom.
The SCL presently situates in Linen, Shawlands on Thursday evenings. Typically, two or three boards are set up: space enough for plenty matches and players. Also, there is a 2 for 1 burger deal on those evenings.
The SCL is known as a friendly place - new players are welcomed and are assured of genial guidance and conviviality. Our aim is to spread the word and love of carrom: a game easy to learn, addictive and hard to master.
